Job Description

  • Minimum of 8-12 years overall IT industry experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a solution architecture role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms.
  • Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
  • Experience with any of the following: O365, Azure, Azure Stack, Azure AD Azure Data Stack:
  1. Data Lakes Gen1/2
  2. Azure Data Factory
  3. Azure Storage
  4. Azure SQL DB
  5. Azure SQL Datawarehouse
  6. Azure Postgres
  7. Azure Synapse
  8. Azure Cosmos DB
  • Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with DR capabilities.
  • Experience in designing, building and supporting platforms across data lifecycle (Collect, Store, Transform, Analyze, Visualize and Govern)
  • Experience in evaluating multiple technologies, ability to develop decision frameworks
  • Good understanding of application development lifecycle
  • Understanding resource management, deployment, access management, networking, resource isolation, high-availability, disaster-recovery for data platform services in Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data platform related services is a plus
  • Proven experience as an Azure PaaS service or Administrator or equivalent role is a plus
  • Migration of legacy data workloads to cloud is a plus
  • Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises
  • Extensive, real-world experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions and defining solution architectures and reference architectures with a focus on cloud technologies.
  • Experience with data ingestion technologies such as Azure Data Factory ,Aspera, MoveIT, , SSIS, Pentaho, Alteryx would be plus
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI, D3, Scrapinghub,Microsoft, TOGAF, Zachman, ITIL, CCNA, CISSP, PMP, etc.would be plus
