Job Description

    Role Overview:We are seeking a motivated and passionate Backend Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. Under the direct supervision of our Chief Technology Officer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our state-of-the-art job application and resume optimization tool. If you have a flair for technology, a passion for creating innovative solutions, and a zeal to learn, this role is for you!Note: Its a 6 month internship with potential for a full-time position upon successful completion of the internshipKey ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & Development: Collaborate with the product team to understand requirements and design scalable and efficient backend systems.Integration & APIs Develop and manage APIs for interaction between the frontend and backend systems.Database Management Design, implement, and maintain the database systems ensuring data integrity and scalability.Testing: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and performance.Collaboration: Work closely with the frontend team, ensuring seamless integration and smooth deployment.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest backend development practices and integrate them wherever suitable.Feedback Loop: Regularly provide insights and suggestions to improve the systems efficiency, performance, and user experience.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.0-2 years of experience in backend development.Proficiency in Python.Familiarity with database technologies like e.g., MySQL, MongoDB.Knowledge of API development and management.Understanding of software development best practices.Strong problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Nice-to-have:Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Benefits:Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that impacts many job seekers.Direct mentorship from experienced professionals in the industry.Exposure to the entire software development life cycle. .
