For more information, visit www.aptean.com . Position BI Designer The BI Designer is responsible for the creation and continued development of Business Intelligence models, reports, and dashboards. S/ he will be responsible for the creation of executive level performance dashboards that will serve a variety of Aptean products, markets and customers. Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance. S/ he needs to help define, understand and implement the functional requirements. S/ he is expected to further build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach higher levels of expertise. Roles and Responsibilities Contribute to definition of a new BI solution or enhancements to an existing solution. Communicate and validate requirements using wireframes and mockups. Describe non- functionality properties and trade- offs. Participate in an Agile development team. Refine use cases during release planning and estimate tasks during sprint planning. Implement functional requirements with good quality. Create appealing and useful visuals. Collaborate with testers to validate the correctness of a report or visualization. Work with QA, Doc and Product Owners in the Agile team cohesively to deliver product releases efficiently. Follow Aptean development process, agile methodology and Software Development Lifecycle (design, coding, testing, Maintenance). Is able to work on multiple product lines and keep the requirements and special considerations for each in mind. Guide new members in the team to help them scale up faster.
