Job Summary: Position summary: We are seeking a self-driven individual who thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment, possesses a clear customer focus, and has significant prior experience in data governance, data analysis and data remediation. The ideal candidate has the capability to effectively manage Customer Master data, providing the Healthcare business with an accurate representation of its customer base, relationships between customers, and a customer s relationship with Nuance. This role will have a broad business impact at a fast-paced growing company with three major components: Governance Work with business and IT stakeholders to clearly define Customer Data Governance policies and procedures Data Analysis Ensure data policies and business rules are adhered to when data is created, updated, deleted, retired, and archived by performing data quality control activities Data Remediation Identify and resolve data issues according to the Data Governance policies and procedures Principal duties and responsibilities: Enforce data definitions and business rules for the Healthcare division Identify and resolve data issues according to the Data Governance policies and procedures Ensure data policies and business rules are adhered to when data is created, updated, deleted, retired, and archived by performing data quality control activities Responsible for ensuring data quality of Healthcare Customers including identification of data quality measures Defines, produces and reviews data quality metrics with business and IT stakeholders, and provides approaches for subsequent data remediation where applicable Responsible for managing and maintaining data quality and day-to-day data management functions Serve as point-of-contact for information assets in their entity Together with other business data stewards, define and get agreement on data structures (e.g. design of the databases in which data is stored) and metadata Work with data architects and modelers to ensure correct data fields are designed and used according to the agreed upon definitions Works with other business data stewards to identify and address data interdependencies across divisions and functions Work with other business data stewards to identify common needs and escalate to Data Owner and the business and IT stakeholders Qualifications Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing Knowledge, skills and qualifications Education:Bachelor s degree Minimum years of work experience:3-5 Required skills: Minimum 5 years of Data Analytics, ad hoc queries, and data analysis development using Excel, Oracle, and/ or Microsoft SQL Server. 5 years in relevant industry and experience with Oracle and/ or Salesforce.com Customer data. Knowledge of data / content management of the enterprise s respective systems Recommended: 2 years focused upon development of data quality metrics and experience in a data management function Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to communicate effectively in business terms with business partners up to the VP level Conceptual thinker, learner, and effective problem solver Comfortable delivering complex solutions in tight timeframes Experience developing standards, processes and policies Exposure to multiple business units in relevant industry in order to understand linkages and dependencies ,
