Job Description

    Job Title: Big Data EngineerExperience : 5 to 10 yearsLocation : Bangalore, HyderabadNotice Period : Immediate to 45 daysKey Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable big data solutions using Hadoop and Scala.
    • Create and maintain data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
    • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data availability.
    • Optimize and tune big data applications for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and pipelines.
    • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
    • Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices.
    • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in big data and data engineering.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 5 years of proven experience as a Big Data Engineer with expertise in Hadoop and Scala.
    • Proficiency in Scala programming and deep understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of distributed computing principles and big data architectures.
    • Experience with data ingestion tools and technologies (e.g., Flume, Kafka).
    • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake) is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration abilities.
    • Relevant certifications in big data technologies are advantageous.
