As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will work on all parts of our data platform: data pipeline, data warehouse, API services, web application, mobile apps, and custom features. You will work across the entire frontend and backend stack. Expecting strong understanding of OOP, distributed computing, as well as Javascript and CSS. We are looking for someone who is self-directed, independent and has experience owning complete features and products with a desire to build an engaging consumer experience.Responsibilities: Architecting and developing data pipelines, API, web/mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POCs) Leading the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problems Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches Work cross-functionally with various teams including: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant frontend and backend services Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies General Qualification: Comfortable working on fast paced, data-driven projects Self-directed, independent and experienced in owning complete features/products A desire to build an engaging consumer experience 5+ years experience designing and developing software, services, and platforms Leadership experience: Leading meetings, presenting, technical go to person, and cross-functional leader B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent Preferred Big Data Experience: Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles Experience with building batch and stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Spark, Storm/Spark-Streaming Experience with Google Dataflow/Dataproc, or Amazon EMR, or Cloudera/MapR/Hortonwork Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Hive, Impala, SparkSql Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Flume or Camel Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ Experience with Big Data ML toolkits, such as Mahout, SparkML, or TensorFlow Good understanding of Lambda Architecture, along with its advantages and drawbacks Duration: 12+ MonthsSalary 3 Lac To 5 Lac P.A.
