Provide technical leadership in the development of firmware test scripts and automation infrastructure. Closely interact with firmware developers andASIC Design team in new feature definition and bring up for future product generation. Improve customer satisfaction and product quality by increasing firmware test coverage and efficiency. Accountable on time delivery of deliverables. Involves collaboration on or assuming the consultative or leadership responsibilities for a specific project or for product development initiatives. Is required to deal with internal groups on behalf of the group or project. Has accountability for results in a particular area of work. May have limited accountability for a small number of engineers related to projects (2- 5), (e.g., be involved in any of the following activities: interview and selection, day- to- day technical supervision or mentoring). REQUIREMENTS: Solid knowledge ofscripting languages (Python, Ruby, Perland computer programming languages (C, C++, X86 assembly). Solid knowledge of creating and executing software/ firmware test plans targeting Linux or Windows environments. Solid knowledge of software development under Microsoft Windowsand Linux as a plus. Solid test methodology and subsystems knowledge in: 10/ 100/ 1G/ 10G Ethernet, SATA, AHCI, DDR3/ DDR4, PCIe Gen1/ Gen2/ Gen3, SPI, I2C, DDR, USB, BMC. Solid knowledge of PC architecture. Solid knowledge of BIOS/ Firmware interfaces (UEFI, ACPI, SMBIOSor Windows and Linux kernel as a plus. BS + 5- 7 years or MS + 3- 5 years or PhD + 1 year.
