Job Title BlueTooth Host Software Dev Engineer IIDetailed JD The role is to be part of the Voice and Music team which delivers software projects primarily focusing on Audio use-cases and Bluetooth Profiles which go into Qualcomm IP for V& M business for Qualcomms personalized audio experience solution in the emerging wireless (Bluetooth) audio market. The engineer will take ownership of a component of a project and will be responsible for delivering the software on a timescale agreed with the technical lead. The engineer should be able to work with minimal supervision. In depth knowledge and hands-on experience of Bluetooth/BLE in design and development of profiles and protocols. Good knowledge on embedded application (on chip) development with memory and MPIS constraint systems. Hands-on experience in complex emended software applications Excellent trouble shooting, debugging and analytical skills that can be applied to resolve potential system issues. Strong communication skills, properly communicate risks, issues and solutions to leads Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Preferred Qualifications Development experience on Bluetooth profiles (A2DP,AVRCP,HFP and other BLE profiles. ) Experience on application development on personalised wireless audio devices as wires speakers, headsets. Overview on DSP audio building blocks as codec, mixer etc. Experience in embedded systems with multiple subsystems Familiarity with Python and Perl scripting.
