OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLEHe/She will be responsible to demonstrate a broad understanding of BO architecture and deliver deployment scenarios of SAP BO and BW platform. Provide business-driven end-to-end solutions to meet our customers needs in gaining insights from our enterprise data around the Analytics platform.He/She will be responsible for administration and support of BO environments and all its services, installation, configuration, day to day maintenance activities of the developed reports and projects.The BO developer reports to Delivery Manager. • Develop and Maintain Data Modeling and Data Management Architecture Strategies.
• Produce data Architectural design, develop functional & technical design document specifications to meet functional requirements for reporting and analytics. Provide Solutions for Complex Initiatives and perform data feasibility studies as well as support business in pre-studies.
• Apply concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability.
• Establish standards, guidelines, checklists and processes for architectural development and compliance.
• Lead and facilitate the creation of governing architecture principles to help steer information, technology and related investment decision making.
• Work closely with architects to ensure ADD (Architecture Design Document) are all up-to-date, complete the ADD for each new improvement of the Platform Maintain the CMDB and all the documents repository for all the platforms.

Run Support:

• Support day to day maintenance activities of the developed reports and projects. Maintenance of Bi launchpad & CMC
• Resolving the issues/incidence came from the business in the developed project and reports. Perform admin activities like managing CMC(central management console) maintenance and checking server and server groups and managing security profiles.

Contribution and validation of Projects scoping:

• Provide technical expertise to propose effort estimates, work breakdown structures and technical resource planning for proposed and current work, to support the Demand Management process. Review the ongoing implementation solution for improvement opportunities.
• Manage gates validations, Collaborate with the Shared Service Center on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Service Mode, Collaborate with the Project Delivery team on the scoping of complex uses cases delivered in Project Mode.
• Provide assistance, coach ,mentor, on-the-job training with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and/or programming knowledge.
• Ensure collaboration Functional Architects as business cases are setup for each initiative, collaborate with other analytics team to drive and operationalize analytical deployment. Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results.
• Strong ability to take the lead and be autonomous Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills. Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement. Be able to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Education Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering /Technology or related fieldExperience8 years of experience with SAP technologies ( SAP BO 4.2 or 4.3)Minimum 2 years experience with ETL tools like SAP BW,BW on HANA, Native HANA.Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure/On Premise BO. Techical Competencies

• Strong Design and develop report using SAP BO 4.2 by using Webi/Dashboard, BO Universes, Crystal Reports and Analysis for Office etc.
• Experience in promoting BO development objects from Dev to Prod, Experience in implementing authorization profiles in SAP BO tools
• Strong knowledge and Experience in provisioning of infrastructure for SAP BO with/involvement in data governance Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and ETL development and managing BI and BO platforms.
• Hands on experience on BO Admin and Security experience on the following topic like Configuring servers, Scheduling the reports , Create users and user groups ,Create user access levels and provide the access to users ,Start and Stop the BO servers ,Clone the servers, Organizing the objects (Delete, move, edits)Managing BOBJ license ,BIAR Backup, Managing web server and SIA, Managing CMC and CMS.
• Exposure working with cloud-based data and analytics platform implementation - AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Experience with/involvement in data governance is plus. Strong hands on experience with Analytics Tool like, AFO, QLIK , Power BI etc
• Having solution orientated mindset and be pragmatic in execution. Take the lead and be autonomous Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Be analytical and be willing to question the status quo.Be able to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Good to Have/Desirable:

• SAP Certification on BO 4.2,
• Exposure to SAC,
• Solid knowledge and understanding of both traditional and modern data warehousing skills
