Way for the GER Region and to be based in Bangalore. To be considered for a role we are seeking candidates with the following credentials, *The Bridge Engineer will be responsible for Planning and leading the delivery of a range of projects including bridges, civil structures, cut and cover and large retaining walls. He/She will be provided with an opportunity to prepare design calculations, drawings and tender/contract documents and work with other bridge engineers and drafters. Coordinate bridge design with other disciplines in a coordinated design team. Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), or equivalent essential.
  • Master s in Structural engineering or a similar diploma in Bridge engineering is an advantage.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Ideal 5 years but minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in the design of road and rail bridges of reinforced, pre-tensioned and post-tensioned concrete, steel, steel composite and timber construction
  • Prepare proposals for small to medium sized projects as directed by the Project Engineers and Business Group Leaders.
  • Preparation of structural engineering designs, drawings and calculations with minimal support or supervision and coordinate closely with Lead regions and provide solutions on a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines to advise on aspects of their design as it impacts on other engineering functions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Key Skills:
  • Fair Knowledge of UK/Aus/US design standards, application processes or similar International experience.
  • Capable on modelling aspects and understand or carryout BIM aspects of Bridge Modelling and help BIM Modellers.
  • Have a thorough knowledge on Software Applications like Autodesk, Structural Bridge Design &/or Robot, STAAD Pro, MIDAS Civil etc. Aware of and able to support with systems such as AutoCAD, REVIT, Civil 3D
Personal traits required:
  • Ensure all project files are up to date and comply with the QMS system
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Flexible to adopt new work /challenge work as per business requirement.
  • Deals and talks with internal team and regular coordination with team sitting in Germany.
  • A strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure.
