Job Description

Job Overview

The candidate will be interviewed for the role of Business Analyst

Responsibility:

  • Play role of Business Analyst for digital transformation projects in Transportation vertical.
  • Establish and communicate the scope of requirements for to internal stakeholders (technical architects, project manager, program manager) and to external stakeholder (customer).
  • Detail the project requirements through following phases in different documents:
    • EPIC catalogue creation
    • User story identification
    • User story detailing
    • Non - Functional Requirements documentation
    • Identification and documentation of Out of scope work items
    • Once the QA certifies that the build is stable, the BA needs to perform smoke test and UAT in order to see if the high - level and important functionalities of the application meets as per the requirements approved.
  • Prepare workflow diagrams.
  • Co - ordinate with the design team to define User Experience (UX) for mobile, web apps
  • Obtain sign - off for all the requirements from the customer based on the timelines defined.
  • Conduct requirement walk - through sessions for the development team and QA team.
  • Clarify queries to the internal development team for all queries
  • Manage the complete application requirements, requirements backlog.
  • Manage the change requests logs. Example: Provide the T - Shirt sizing of the requirements and work with the architects in providing the efforts change.
  • Perform smoke test/ UAT:

Skills:

  • Experienced as Business Analyst for Intelligent Transportation Systems for public transportation vertical is mandatory.
  • Excellent understanding of Public transportation industry, eco - system players such as Public Transit agencies, MaaS providers, ISVs, Regulatory bodies etc. is mandatory.
  • Experienced in requirement elicitation through requirement workshops, JAD sessions, clarification sessions etc.
  • Experience in working with adjacent verticals such as commercial fleet, travel etc. is a plus.
  • Very good oral and written communication skills is mandatory

Experience Range: 9 - 12 years

Educational Background: Bachelor s degree or Master s degree in computer science or equivalent degree is mandatory. MBA from a premier business school will be a great plus.
