Job Description

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day end user support including trouble shooting both system and data issues related to the Hyperion Planning / Essbase applications Including PBCS
• Execute PBCS system administration activities including updating metadata, web forms, Security etc.
• Develop FDMEE rules
• Identifying and defining detailed product functional requirements and use cases, setting up and maintaining logic, rules, metadata and security.
• Perform security maintenance on applications as needed.
• Works closely with the Business Process owner and others to assess current capabilities and identify high-level business requirement to meet business owner needs.
• Works closely with IT to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Work with Finance business counterparts to understand their business needs and translate them into Hyperion reports or Hyperion Planning/Essbase enhancements.
• Continuously and proactively improve Hyperion Planning/Essbase to enrich end user experience by providing training documentation and support for system functionality as well as ad-hoc reporting capabilities.
• Provide the Financial Planning Analysis group with support for ad-hoc projects.
• Work closely with our Hyperion team to identify system problems and work-out solutions to minimize system outages.
• Perform health checks to system on regularly
• Validate financial data to establish trust in the data in Hyperion Planning and Reporting applications
• Participate in all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance windows
• Respond to problem tickets from users to resolve application issues, assess business impact and priority
• Support Hyperion applications by resolving issues submitted by users and assist them with their questions

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required
• At least 1 years of experience in the use of PBCS or Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, both BSO and ASO, (business rules, member formulas, calculations scripts and optimization), Hyperion Financial Reporting, Hyperion Web Analysis, Shared Services and SmartView.
• Experience with Oracle EPM System 11 preferred or PBCS
• Knowledge of ESS Automate
• Knowledge of the integration experience with Hyperion Planning and Essbase including FDMEE
• General functional knowledge of the forecasting and financial analysis process.
• Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SSRS, SSAS is a plus.
• Strong technical skills including writing/creating calculation scripts, business rules, MAXL automation scripts, load rules, report scripts, web forms, financial reports, automation packages using EPM Automate and FDMEE.
• Knowledge of SQL server
• Knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBi is a plus
• Experience with Adaptive Insights and SAP ERP a plus
• Solid experience using MS Office with an expert level in Excel.

• Ability to travel to Ft Lauderdale Headquarters up to two times per year for period of one to three weeks
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science
• Familiarity with databases and report development. Highly computer literate in Excel.
• Very strong oral and written communication skills.
