Job Description

Business Analyst HR Data & Analytics Job DescriptionThe Business Analyst HR Data & Analytics will be responsible for partnering with the HR Analytics team to set the strategic direction and roadmap for HR Data & Analytics, technology product lifecycle management, ensuring inflight and new initiatives adhere to Global & regional Data standards, managing operational demand and driving adoption of data & analytics capabilities within HR.The role will work in close collaboration with the HR Reporting & Analytics team, HR regional & COE stakeholders, solution and enterprise architects, GBS and the emerging Global Data team.This is a new position that will be a key to connecting the dots across HR and other functional areas, to ensure data is taken out of its current siloed approach to enable unlocking of the potential of data to drive better insights and business outcomes for KC.The Business Analyst is skilled at managing and understanding data resources and combines these skills with curiosity and a passion for solving organizational problems. A strong communicator with developed internal client consulting skills, the Business Analytics Analyst is responsible for understanding vision and objectives of internal partners and proactively finding and implementing data-based technology solutions that lead the organization.Responsibilities

  • Establish a clear roadmap, ensuring visibility and alignment with key groups and projects
  • Build and maintain a heat map and status of current data landscape (quality, consistency, availability, ownership) and identify priority data needed to support key initiatives
  • Identify and build a network of Data Owners within on both the business & IT side, leading an analytics community of practice within the broader DTS HR & Legal teams
  • Capture and vet future technology demand and drive adoption of current tools
  • Proactively identify and implement improvement opportunities around systems, process, data and user experience
  • Ensure data integrity by understanding and identifying opportunities to improve, working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Create custom reports and dashboards, including security design
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all phases of development from requirements to change documentation
  • Utilize and maintain data and reporting governance guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education required/ preferred:Minimum 7 years of Analytics experience, preferably in the HR space, or relevant functional business and process expertise appropriate to the role.Experience:
  • Domain knowledge of Data & Analytics capabilities.
  • Proven track record in the implementation, embedding and adoption of Data & Analytics/BI capabilities
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels
  • Experience of Master Data Management, Data & Analytics while not essential would be desirable
  • Strong Project Management Experience including use of agile development methodologies
  • Broad knowledge of end-to-end HR processes and data
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is essential
