Job Description

You will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers computing model. This role has regional responsibility and is being established to position AWS cloud as the best place to host Windows based production workloads.With the focus on having Microsoft platforms running on AWS cloud, you will be responsible for developing the market for AISPL, for large enterprise application workloads and datacenter migration projects. Towards this end you will engage with large enterprise customers as also with internal teams at AISPL including the broader business development team, solution architects, partner and professional services organizations to drive large and highly complex opportunities to closure. Your work will also involve developing the market for AISPL, for migrating LOB Apps powered by SQL Server and corporate apps such as Exchange, SharePoint or SAP to the AWS cloud. Your commitments will include driving platform adoption, market penetration in the enterprise segment as well as creating public references.,

  • 15+ years of technology related marketing or business development experience with quota accountability
  • Direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts
  • Experience in working directly with large enterprise accounts in a quota carrying role
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to dive deep on Microsoft Server Technologies (including SQL Server), Licensing, and moving enterprise workloads to the AWS cloud
  • Experience working at Microsoft or a systems integrator partner
  • Extensive customer network
  • BA/BS degree required. A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus
