Job Description

nullIn this roleAs respective BU IAP Architect, you will own the transition of the identified software stacks in the (respective) businesses to the IAP owned SW stack. This includes the agreed common Software subsystems as laid out by the DI Reference architecture. You will also work closely with a cross functional team and other architects to create additional value for the businesses by adding features and solutions that addresses unmet customer needs and meets the dynamic needs of the market (as it evolves).Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Business architects, Lead platform architect in IAP to progressively transition the Software from the Business specific and business owned archive(s) into the common and single archive at IAP.
  • Ensure that while transitioning the necessary architectural and SW quality norms are adhered to and does not degrade. Owns the code going into the IAP NxGen SW archive.
  • Work closely with PMO to adhere to the cadence established as per the roadmap.
  • Work closely with Marketing/Product owners to identify and develop solutions, features and functionalities meeting customer needs.
  • Work closely with System engineering functions in respective businesses to own and evolve system requirements, translating them into necessary subsystem level requirements.
  • Support the Business architects to reduce the Software maintenance burden on the business.
Skills and experience:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 14 to 18 years of experience on the job as an Architect
  • Strong coding skill with C#/.net/C++ with exposure on cloud or IoT.
  • Demonstrated hands on technical capabilities in Software development.
  • Deep awareness of modern SW engineering practices and capabilities.
  • Has a transformational mindset and attitude to drive change.
  • Demonstrated domain and product knowledge
  • Self-starter with exceptional communication skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Thinks out of the box
