Your key areas of responsibility include - Your License to Impact:The role would require having highly experienced skills in managing IT category, Research and Laboratory, Facility Management and services category also.Be an sourcing partner for - highly experienced in managing, sourcing and/or understanding the market dynamics with the IT industry from cloud-based licenses to sophisticated CRM systems over to buying IT Consultants for optimization in IT infrastructures.Demonstrate a working experience across indirect categories, a sourcing position and/or the supplier site or parallel. Supplier and spend analysis, Supplier and service assessments, creating RfI and RfP are part of the activities to be performed as a Category Manager.Collaborate with key business stakeholders on an expert level (industry knowledge) is key together with interactions with IT and Sourcing colleagues to identify and drive savings through sourcing engagements with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership;Negotiate contracts with high IT technical complexity as well as other contractual elements within other commodities and Professional Services in collaboration with (G)CMs, to secure both short- and longer-term results and utilizing different negotiation tactics.Understand technical product specifications, licenses and make assessments to secure relevant demands are covered and challenge when overengineered.Drive smaller procurement projects across commodities for India site, Facility services and Management, Research and Laboratory and Professional Services, besides negotiations and tenders, also supplier consolidation, business improvements and secure optimal cost efficiency within the supplier base.Secure signed contracts based on standard contract terms in order to secure line of business can operate optimally and service costs are considered.Communicate with line of business and ensure contract implementation and service levels are acknowledged.Participate in different cross functional groups to assure alignment on specification and supplier collaboration pre and past service and or equipment implementation.Monitor and supervise in order to secure an efficient Procure-to-Pay process toward our line of business and suppliers.Follow-up on operational KPIs like service SLAs, payment terms.Manage own portfolio of suppliers as aligned in category team, including running all of the above processes plus close cooperation with Facility Services and line of business.To succeed you must:Have at least 5 years of experience within tactical procurement or a relevant Bachelor within IT, Engineering, Supply chain, Economics.Have experience with IT technical complexity within product and service together with great business understanding.Be able to communicate clear and concisely, and you are not afraid of facilitating meetings, making recommendations or presenting for senior managementBe able to communicate and negotiate effortlessly in written and verbal EnglishFinally, we promote that you are self-motivated and energetic.
