Provides first level supervision to the team of Professionals in Applications Development sub-function. The team supervisors focus is on mentoring, coaching, coordination as well as providing technical leadership. Leads teams in the design and development of software applications or specialized utility programs that will enhance the organizations/clients ability to achieve strategic goals and targets. Your future duties and responsibilities:
Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of 3D visualization web applications. Perform technical design and reviews for his/her team (Should provide Technical/Functional Solutions and help the team during the Design Stage). Work as part of a team maintaining and developing new enhancements to a large complex Scientific software running on Linux clusters Accountable to ensure the Scrum Team delivers effectively, features that meet defined Acceptance Criteria and Quality Encourage the team to use the best practices of using Static Code Analyzer tools, Refactoring, Reusability of the code, Unit Testing Represent the Supplier Scrum Team in the various ceremonies and meetings, in conjunction with the supplier scrum master. Provide Technical guidance to the Scrum Team. The ability to effectively work under direction from the Product Owner and be the local Representative for software development best practice and efficiency Demonstrate usage of different testing patterns, continuous integration processes, and disciplined quality assurance. Excellent interpersonal skills and has demonstrated the ability to work and communicate effectively with various disciplines, including non-technical management
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Experienced Software Professional with 14 years of experience in enterprise Software Development across the whole architecture stack (Front-End, Middle, Back-End). Extensive experience with application development and architecture, including performance, scalability, usability and security. Development experience on the Linux operating system. Familiarity with cmake and other key tools and libraries that enable development, testing, and debugging. Know how to structure a database and multi-channel application built with microservices. Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and how to apply them in a large-scale distributed enterprise. Strong understanding and practice of agile/scaled agile software development life cycle processes, including planning, design, software testing and quality aspects. Excellent interpersonal skills and has demonstrated the ability to work and communicate effectively with various disciplines, including non-technical management Can demonstrate personal initiative and take ownership of product deliverables including Total Cost of Ownership. Bachelors degree or Master s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline with strong technical and mathematical programming experience for Scientific Computing Up to date with a vast array of rapidly changing technologies including (but not limited) to Visual Studio, C , .NET, QT, PL/SQL, thread-safe programming, TFS, Azure DevOPS, and testing methodologies. Extensive Scientific Software development experience using C /.NET Ability to communicate the value of architectural improvements in non-technical terms Can work on problems of diverse scope and ensure task schedules and quality requirements are met.
