Job Description

    Primary Roles and Responsibilities:As a C developer , you will be working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.You will be managing a varied workload of multiple ongoing tasks including new function development and product maintenance.You will be communicating with various teams to help resolve customer issues. As part of the development team, it would be your responsibility to develop and debugging of software products.Participates in requirements understanding, module design, high quality deliverables, fixing security defects etc.Are you a problem solver Do you get a kick out of understanding and correcting complex code Then, this is certainly a place for you! Skills Required:
    • A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
    • Good knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix), ability to debug memory/cpu intensive issues.
    • Good knowledge of systems programing and tool (for eg: procmon, event viewer, process explorer, resources on /proc, strace, GDB, etc).
    • Good understanding on OS kernel modules.
    • Ability to analyze network packets or tcp dump.
    • Good understanding of network protocols (TLS, TCP layer, etc).
    • Good knowledge of scripting language like shell, perl, bash etc.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to participate in customer calls in high pressure situations to understand customer issues and provide. workarounds and solutions.
    • Work closely with peers and other stakeholders to understand the entire end user perspective.
    Nice to have skills:
    • Strong work ethic and demonstrable sense of ownership of the products / solutions that you / your team will be responsible for.
    • Worked with Jenkins, Jira and Git or similar tools.
    • Ability to work in Agile fast-paced environment.
    • Participate in release planning and iteration planning meetings.
    • Quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful delivery of the product.
    Qualifications:
    • Preferably Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
    • Minimum 7-9 years of experience in C programming.
    • Excellent logical, analytical, debugging and communication skills.
    • Must have worked on large scale enterprise products (n-tier architecture).
    • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
    • Ability to adapt in existing and new environment.
    • Ability to learn new concepts and software is necessary.
