Job Description

The primary responsibilities of this role are to Design & Developing software stack for HPE Servers and cloud based solutions. The candidate should have detailed knowledge in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems & its administration. Further good understanding of the Cloud architectures and environments alongwith hands on experience with cloud orchestration and provisioning tools will be an added advantage for the candidate. Should have good Analytical, communication & presentation skills who can strive in fast paced environments. The candidate should have good experience in either of Agile, DevOps or SDLC software development models.Roles and Responsibilities.

  • Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
  • Provides design documentation, works with customers and internal teams to enhance the product and define requirements.
  • Proactively drives the development of new ideas and methods from the scratch.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
  • Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
  • Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
  • Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to junior employees.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 to 12+ years experience
Knowledge and Skills
  • Must have detailed knowledge of Linux internals or Windows or VMware
  • Knowledge of networking and storage interfaces, etc.
  • Expert in most of the following languages & OS:
OS: Linux, Windows, VMware Language: C# .Net, C/C++ (Visual Studio, GCC), Python, Perl DB: SQLDB (MongoDB added advantage) Interface/Objects: ReSTful API, JSON, XML
  • Good Understanding of Cloud Technologies & Tools:
Orchestrator like Kubernetes, Dockers Swarms, Ansible, Chef, Puppet Databases/NoSQL: MongoDB, ElasticSearch Web UI: HTML5, JavaScript (JQuery/NodeJS/Reactjs/Angular),
  • Knowledge on Linux/Windows OS & internals, with sound understanding of Computer Architecture
  • Able to work in a small team with rapid turn around and tight build schedules
  • Knowledge of BIOS/EFI and of server hardware (especially HPE ProLiant) a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of learning new technologies, designing & developing software s stacks.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging capability.
  • Ability to analyze corner cases, timing issues, security loopholes, scaling performances, etc.
  • Conversant with Open Source Apps and willingness to leverage it in product development.
  • Willing to work alone with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as a part of a larger team.
  • Must be independent, quick learner and possess strong communication skills (written and verbal).
