Job description: Qualcomm is one of the fastest growing semiconductor organization in India making high-end Chips with the most advanced technologies. In order to support its growing needs, we are building a strong CAD team for the development, deployment and support of internal EDA Tools, CAD Flows and Methodologies. This will involve innovating new solutions in close collaboration with the design teams, worldwide CAD team and EDA vendors. Individual should be able to discuss with design teams to understand their requirements and come up with proposal for CAD tools and flows. Should mentor juniors, train and ramp up the design teams & consultants on the CAD flows, create documentation and training materials for ready reference. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, or related field. Preferred Qualifications CAD-Flow/EDA -Tool Development, Deployment and Support. Proficient in scripting languages, Java, Data Structures, Algorithms and Optimizations. Proficient in VLSI front end design/verification steps - Verilog/VHDL, High level design flow, low power design/methodology(UPF) Experience with data base, web application development is a plus. Familiarity with standard software engineering practices like Version Control systems, Configuration Management and Regression process. Should be sincere, fast learner, dedicated, having good communication skills and willing to take up new challenges Education Requirements Bachelors degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
