Amazon.in Fashion team is seeking a creative, analytical, and highly motivated Category Marketing Manager to develop, execute and evaluate merchandising, marketing and site experience for New Business Initiatives spanning across Plus-size, Premium, Designer as well as new upcoming programs.We seek an individual who is motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about branding and marketing, and obsesses over customers. The candidate must possess strong analytical and project management skills and possess a high degree of ownership. Excellent communication skills and an ability to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders will be essential to the candidate s success. S/he should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity.Role & Responsibilities: S/he will lead marketing efforts across New Business Initiatives in Amazon Fashion across Plus-size, Premium / Luxury, Designer business & also lead the launch of new successful global fashion programs in India. S/he will be responsible for the merchandising of these stores onsite and building engaging onsite experiences. S/he will also provide guidance to content and editorial teams to publish trend-driven stories around new launches and seasonal collections, and to create compelling content on brand and product shopping pages. S/he will also drive traffic efforts across performance advertising (SEM / SEO), social media, affiliates, etc. and work as a category advocate with central traffic teams. The individual will own the marketing promotions calendar and will define customer acquisition and retention strategies based on rigorous data-driven customer insights. S/he will collaborate with internal product teams and worldwide teams to build and launch improvements to the shopping., 3+ years of marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze dataBASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements & presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders Proven track record of thinking customer backwards. Ability to prioritize and define roadmap in an ambiguous environment. 6+ years of overall work experience with 4+ year experience in marketing/product management. Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results. Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects. Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and influencing skills and an ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment. Preferred qualifications Bachelor s degree and MBA from Tier 1 B-School with 8+ years of experience with 6+ years in marketing or brand management within e-commerce or Fashion retail or FMCG companies Past experience in digital marketing (paid search, paid display, SEO, content, paid social) and in handling marketing or promotions programs for a consumer-facing business of significant scale Demonstrated ability to develop customer-driven innovations in high-growth businesses Strong data-driven decision making skills, with ability to dive deep into customer data and translate insights into opportunities Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and persuade stakeholders. The right candidate will be able to think and influence both quantitatively and qualitatively Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and high attention to detail
