Job Description

    Role Name : Real Estate Branch Analysis - Financial Analyst Team : CBB: Real Estate - Financial Analysis Team Description: The CBB Finance team in Bengaluru supports the Consumer and Business Banking segment by offering Financial Reporting, Planning, Modelling and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance teams. This position of Associate will be part of Real Estate Finance team. This position would perform proactive analysis on branch performance to provide recommendations on target setting for new branches and help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports. Also this role requires active involvement in automation of current and new reports. Role and Responsibilities:
    • Analyze the historical branch performance and provide recommendations on funding decisions to open new branches, consolidation of branches, purchase vs lease options, relocation of branches or any other capital expenditure
    • Designing new reports and developing processes to automate reports
    • Automating existing reports and reducing manual efforts to the minimum using advanced excel skills including macros and suggesting other tools to streamline the processes followed by implementation
    • Re-setting commitments for new branches based on historical performance
    • Develop strong business understanding and key metrics that drive the decision making process
    • Maintaining complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis and set-up processes to maintain accuracy
    • Summarizing the drivers behind branch performance including profitability, break-even, pay-back etc.
    • Continuous focus on improving and maintaining high degree of accuracy
    • Support any standard reports as well as adhoc requests reporting requests
    • Present financial results to leaders in the organization
    • Constant focus on automating manual processes
    Skills / Competencies Needed/Education Qualifications:
    • Qualified CA/ MBA or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance
    • Minimum of 6 years experience in Financial Planning or modelling
    • Good communication and strong excel skills.
    • Advance excel skill including VBA
    • Working knowledge of Essbase
    • Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
    • Team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and senior management
    • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment
    • Experience in Tableau would be an added advantage.
