Job Description

    CCB Operations Records Management Team provides support, focused primarily on Structured and Unstructured data stores for all CCB (JPMWM) Operations, ensuring alignment with Retention and Destruction policies as outlined in Data Risk Management Policy - Firmwide. Additionally, the team provides governance and oversight to the Custodian of Record for the Enterprise Archive across all LOBs.The individual will be part of a team responsible for coordinating with the CCB Sub-Lines of Business, Product Groups, Technology, Legal, and other functional partners to implement Firmwide Data Risk Management policies and standards within the CCB organization relevant to data retention and destruction. The ideal candidate will provide support to help identify, analyze, and interpret complex and often diverse data in order to provide actionable information and creative solutions to achieve the goals and objectives of the CCB Operations Records Management Team, including, but not limited to, business data analysis and activity performance tracking. Candidate will also be responsible for root cause analysis and continuous improvements in automating data capture, data analysis and data reporting for the Records Management Team.The successful candidate should have proven ability to provide innovative ways to solving problems and assess data risk across multiple data stores (e.g. applications, shared drives, SharePoint) to see the bigger picture, and hands on experience with the planning and execution of multi-year programs / projects. The candidate will also have a strong understanding of governance oversight and control functions. Responsibilities: Partner heavily with business users and technology teams at various levelsWork closely with business partners to identify process improvements and leverage technology to automate and streamline existing processesAssist with reporting, and metric analysis, and related business intelligence activitiesDevelop and maintain appropriate process documentationFacilitate training sessionsDevelop business requirements - translating into technical options and solutions that meet business needs and mitigate riskCreate use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT or Reporting teamAnalyze impact of proposed solution across the business advising business on options and risksContribute a business or process perspective during design reviewsProvide relevant test scenarios and complete proper test plansTrack, recommend, and prioritize system or process enhancements Qualifications 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst and/or DBAAbility to solve business problems and improve processes with technology and automationStrong analytical, problem solving, and writing skills to include experience in writing functional and technical specifications and use casesAbility to build successful working relationships with stakeholdersExperience with generating test scriptsExcellent interpersonal & communication skills; verbal, written & technicalPossess the ability to set priorities and work with limited direction to achieve desired goals and results.Self motivated; detail oriented; team player capable of working independentlyExpert in MS Excel and AccessUnderstanding of Sequel, Oracle or other database platformsProficient in Alteryx, JIRA, and ServiceNowSharePoint and Shared Drive admin experience preferredSolid understanding of business environment, retail banking and/or banking systems knowledge preferredExperience with audit, risk, or control functions a plus,
