About the RoleAs Smoor scales up, its looking to grow across multiple channels (Offline and Online) and product lines (Breads,Cakes & Pastries, Chocolates, Cookies, Beverages & Ready to Eat).The CTO would be responsible to lead technology and product teams to improve online experience of usersand lead products used by internal teams ( Warehousing, Production, Last MIle, Stores, Loyalty).Role and Responsibilities: Development efforts for all storefronts to improve traffic, conversion and retention Owning data pipeline (Events) and tracking for all traffic to improve conversion and ad-spends Own internal tools to be used by teams for analytics, revenue maximisation and fulfilment Build /source tools for ERP, POS, Loyalty, Procurement and Last MIle operationsIdeal Candidate- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company- Candidates with experience in D2C / FMCG / Luxury brands consumer front-end and backend preferred- Familiar with Shopify, Wordpress and e-commerce in general.(not mandatory)- Knows javascript- Successfully advise and provide the necessary leadership for multiple complex projects at one or more clientsas CTO- Bridge : Serve as a communications bridge between IT staff, IT leadership, other staff, and senior leadership- Develop deep professional relationships with Customers- executive level personnel- Regularly meet with appropriate business leaders to understand their plans and challenges- Provide regular updates to Customer Senior IT Leadership- Understand and Advise active and upcoming projects- Provide the leadership and guidance to the Customer needs to navigate business and technology change.- Always seek new opportunities to expand our contribution; always seek new ways to share knowledge andexpertise
