CIB CAO Wholesale Payment Operations Global Nostro Management Account Simplification :Nostro Management is a global function responsible for Nostro Cash Account ownership throughout the full lifecycle. The team works closely with multiple other functions, including cash management, reconciliations, transfer pricing organization and network management. The purpose of this function is to drive improvement in the governance, control and management of JPMC s financial account framework. Nostro management are responsible for defining and implementing the strategic operating model to manage the firm s third party and inter-entity nostros, including: Management of the full population of Nostros within a consistent and structured framework Deliver a consistent corporate-wide Nostro operating model Change Management and Governance Own firm-wide Nostro inventory and integrity of inventory data Provide transparency of and reduce all Nostro costs Analysis and remediation of existing structures and processesKey Responsibilities:The Nostro Management Vice President will report to the Nostro Management Analysis & Execution Lead and support the team achieve detailed analysis across the four functional pillars Financial, Integrity, Lifecycle and Information. This is to support the wider TCIO led Cash as an Asset (CaaA) initiative. The role will require management and leadership of the full population of Nostros In partnership with the Global functional leads to deliver a consistent and structured operating framework:Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):o Project management of specified CaaA deliverables o Change Management control change process for all assigned work streamso Ensure adherence to corporate-wide Nostro Standards and operating model o Manage the transition from locally owned and managed account to TCIO Owned and Banking Ops operated CaaA structureo Ensure regulatory reporting / substantiation is performed by appropriate partieso Continual maintenance of Nostro population in partnership with the ATLAS team e.g. dormant account review, agent review, structural validation/remediationo Define and assist with data analysis for all aspect of Nostro operation (account volumes, costs, ownership details etc)o Partner with other core functional teams to deliver on key Nostro management CaaA objectives, including: Network Management Reconciliations Corporate Treasury & LoB so Provide monthly governance for all functions that are responsible for key processes that impact assigned work.o Drive end-to-end consistency in information flows and control points to ensure optimum model for persistento Governance of LoB s ensuring they: provide correct and timely information ensure ledgers, statements the account population is consistent globally self-fund to the corporate standard if Treasury/Cash Management do not fund centrallyo Create transparency of treasury vs. non-treasury activity across nostroso Provide full transparency to cost and income flows related to overdraftso Work towards objective of reducing overdraft costs globally to bare minimumSkills (Required)Team/people management.
