Business & Role Description Insight & Analytics is a function within the Wholesale Document Management Services (WDMS) organization part of Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) - that caters to Intelligent automation, data analytics, and business intelligence across WDMS. The team provides solutions using Intelligent Automation tools such as Instabase, UIPath and Abbyy to aid in the overall digital transformation program towards automating extraction of information from legal documents. The team employs a suite of modern data analytics tools such as Alteryx and Visualization tools such as Qlikveiw & Tableau to provide data insights to drive change, understand the business landscape to enable data-driven decision-making. The role is to lead and manage this team with the primary objective of building a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to provide consultancy & expertise around document digitization capabilities such as Image OCR, document classification, data extraction and taxonomy-compliant data transformation using a variety of Intelligent Automation toolsets. The CoE would be responsible to
1. Learn, develop & on-board new tools to aid in the development of workflows to automate digital extraction of legal documents.
2. Engage and train the core team to become an SME on these tools
3. Train and coach the Business Ops teams (Citizen Developers) to enable business to become self-reliant in developing document digitization solutions
4. Act as a go-to team for any queries related to these tools
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and Manage the Insight & Analytics team
• Build a Centre of Excellence around Intelligent Automation tools such as Instabase to fasten digital transformation journey.
• Assist in onboarding and adoption of these tools across document digitization space. Organize and lead training sessions to increase awareness and adoption of Intelligent Automation tools.
• Liaise with operations team to understand the priority documents and carve out an approach to digitize the documents
• Interface with business managers, product owners and technology teams to design, develop, deploy, and enhance digitization solutions and dashboards
• Develop new Alteryx data transformation workflows and bespoke macros
• Create, manage, and enhance dashboards in QlikView / Tableau in ways that help drive the business and create efficiencies
• Help support and develop data-driven business culture across CIB Digital & Platform Services
• Investigate, debug and resolve any technical issues with intelligent automation tools such as Instabase, Alteryx and Tableau.
Total Work Experience: 15+ years Qualifications & Skillsets
• Educational Requirement: B. Tech/B.E with related certifications in Quantitative Data Analytics and/or Business Intelligence
• 15+ years of total work experience with 5+ years managerial experience in business-critical projects and engaging/influencing stakeholders
• 5+ years of experience in handling reporting capabilities such as MIS and dashboards, preferably in an Investment Banking domain.
• 2+ years of experience on Analytical tools such as Alteryx, and visualization tools such as Qlikview/Tableau and SQL
• Hands-on experience on any programming language. Python is preferred.
• Knowledge of tools such as Instabase and UiPath will be preferable.
• Should have excellent communication skills and good analytical mindset.
• Quick learner and should be able to adapt quickly based on new assignments and tasks.
