Job Description

    As a Reconciliation manager, youll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of reconciliations of Custody/IB Stock/ADR/CCMS/CSD/Sec lending products. Applicant need a stronger understanding of Reconciliation & Custody processes and related risks and controls standards. As a manager ability to manage and drive frequent Change management, Break Governance and continuous improvements are the key requirements. Plus experience in people management, coordinating with multiple Operations & internal/external teams is expected. Responsibilities:
    • To manage and control day to day reconciliation of various Custody/IB Stock/ADR/CCMS/CSD/Sec lending products
    • Strengthen and monitor control environment by establishing right standards
    • Adhere and observe all CASS related norms are compliant throughout the year
    • Manage several internal and external audits during the year. Stay on top of the action plans and drive it for closure
    • Ensure all deliverables are completed correctly and issued to clients per timetable
    • Provide timely information to stakeholders and clients on pending requests and possible impacts to other processes
    • Respond to client services/internal queries in a timely fashion to ensure all queries are logged and resolved within the appropriate time frame
    • Identify and escalate issues in a prompt and timely manner which may impact service
    • Identify and implement cost save measures
    • Adopt best practices by partnering with other transaction processing teams
    • Work closely within the team to ensure all the daily activities and checklists are completed
    • Leverage technology by means of system enhancements
    • Escalate issues and challenges on time
    • Actively participate in new projects
    • Maintain control of the environment in respect of JPMorgan & Chase Co. policies and the local regulatory rules
    This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
    • Good understanding of stock settlement process/Corporate action events which is market facing
    • Good experience of working with on CASS norms and requirements
    • Working experience on iRecs/ TLM/ TLM Premium is preferred.
    • Internal and External audit management
    • Advanced knowledge and proven results with regards to macros, Visual Basics, QTP, and other coding language
    • Experience in back-office operations of a reputed foreign bank or its processing arm/private sector bank/public sector bank as a supervisor desired
    • Understanding of reconciliation and accounting principles preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Bachelor s degree
    • Strong PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
