Job Description

Cloud Application DeveloperDo you enjoy working with a highly motivated and talented team to deliver mission-critical software We at Hewlett Packard Enterprise are growing our cloud analytics team to develop, troubleshoot, deploy, and enhance our complex cloud-based application which helps solve customer issues/challenges.As a cloud application developer, you will be designing & implementing Streaming data pipeline solutions. The new technology stack includes Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/AZURE, Docker/Kubernetes/Blue data, NoSQL database, MapR and EFK. Your focus will be on development of streaming data pipeline & analytical solutions which serves various customer use-cases. Further, you will proactively seek out system/solutions weaknesses and find ways to fix them before they cause production issues.Responsibilities / Role expectation:

  • Design and develop cloud hosted data streaming solutions which helps customers address their problems
  • Work with the DevOps team to plan & migrate current implementation to Cloud-based solution
  • Work closely with internal partners and teams to ensure that we ship software that meets security, SLA, and performance requirements
  • Debugging complex problems across an entire stack and creating solid solutions
  • Work with CI/CD processes to improve cadence
  • Reliable and open-minded resource with strong team working skills
  • Determination to reach a goal in time as well as the ability to work independently and to prioritize
  • Ability to get quickly up-to-speed in a complex, new environment
Key Skills Required:
  • Bachelor s Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent
  • 4 years of experience in which 2 years of hands-on experience in development of micro service based application development
  • 3 years hands-on experience in Scala (working experience on Lagom / AKKA is an added advantage)
  • 3 years of experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies
  • Has hands-on working experience with NoSQL DB like Cassandra & Elastic Search (MongoDB, TimeScale DB)
  • Has hands-on experience in using source control/versioning tools (Git, GitHub)
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company s success
  • Working knowledge of Spark, KAFKA, REST
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skill
  • Experience debugging complex problems
  • Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems

  • Experience with working on streaming data platforms (Lagom/Spark)
  • Experience with designing & developing a scalable application
  • Experience with design & development of micro service in large scale and with application layer using Scala, PySpark, Play Framework, Kafka Stream, Flink, Storm, Jupyter, REST, Microservices
