    • The Cisco Cloud Security team is looking for an engineer to join our dynamic team working on the Cloud Native Firewall.
    • In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of new product features, product releases, compliance, and quality for cloud-based firewall applications that are used by millions every day to keep the world secure.
    Role & ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions to extend and improve the infrastructure of our security servicesDevelop and test new software featuresWrite functional and design specifications in the data plane and control planePerform testing and automation of features and take them to the deployment stage.Debug and provide solutions for existing deployments.Participate in/drive threat modeling, monitoring and risk management of our infrastructure.Contribute towards achieving/maintaining compliance such as SOC2, FedRAMP, etc.Preferred:Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.5-8 years of Software development experienceExperience with containerization and related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS.Familiarity with microservice-based architectures.Domain knowledge of Security (encryption, firewalls, secure systems design, vulnerability management, secure software design, credential management, etc.)Ability to work in an agile delivery model, with ownership and accountability.Familiarity with Federal compliance requirements (SOC2 and/or FedRAMP) in a DevOps environment.VPN and Firewall experience desiredStrong grasp of networking conceptsTechnologies we useYou should have exposure to the following:Go, Python, C/C++Kubernetes, DockerAWSLinuxCI/CD, Jenkins,
