Job Description

We are now looking for a passionate Security Expert, to join our team in Bangalore (currently working on Business ByDesign and a new SME solution) and be a part of a world-class development organization delivering products which are humanly desirable, business viable and technically feasible.The RoleYou will be working in a cross-functional team of talented colleagues, following agile methodologies and industry best practices.As a Security Expert in our development team you take responsibility for the following:

  • Guide architecture decisions based on SAP Product Standard Security and Secure Programming principles.
  • Moderate the Threat Modeling Workshops and Data Protection Compliance Evaluation Workshops during the Design phase.
  • Own the DPP testcases, and audit the mandatory execution of these tests during the MIT phase.
  • Keep the Security light on by ensuring the conduct of the Security Code Scans on support bug fixes and regression tests for resolution of critical Security vulnerabilities.
  • Advocate Secure Programming Guidelines to the Development team, drive and ensure the compliance to Security and Data Protection & Privacy guidelines.
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Development Architects, Products Owners, Developers and Quality Assurance, to coordinate the delivery of secure solutions (delivery includes design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance & support activities).
  • Create and maintain network with Security Experts across the globe.
Role Requirements
  • 8+ years of total experience (including at least 3 years of experience as an Architect).
  • Deep understanding and demonstrated knowledge of Secure Development Processes and Standards of any Cloud Platform Solutions based on Java/Node/any programming language and the corresponding software development and business development tools and methodologies.
  • Proven expertise in hands-on experience with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S2DL) during design, development, testing, debugging, delivery and support.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Data Protection & Privacy principles and experience working with Static and Dynamic Security Scan tools.
  • Prior experience with Secure Programming principles in at least one programming language (preferably Node).
  • Debugging experiences with commonly occurring Security vulnerabilities such as Cross-Site Scripting, Cross-Site Request Forgery, Clickjacking, Authentication & Authorization, Fuzzing, etc.
  • Architecture and development experience with Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge and experience with Penetration Testing is a plus.
