Job Opening Details back to list Reference Code: RRF005399 Job Title: Cloud Security Specialist Category: #LI-DNI Analyze a variety of network and host-based security appliance logs (Firewalls, NIDS, HIDS, Sys Logs, DLP, etc.) and security events that are populated in a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system Monitor incoming event queues for potential security incidents; Identify and act on anomalous network activity Investigate intrusion attempts and perform in-depth analysis of exploits Monitor external event sources for security intelligence and actionable incidents. Perform initial investigation and triage for potential security incidents. Understanding of vulnerabilities in OS, Applications, Network devices deployed on AWS cloud and on-premise environments Provide accurate & priority driven analysis on cyber activity/threats. Resolve or coordinate the resolution (escalation) of cyber security events. Independently follow procedures to contain, analyze, and eradicate malicious activity. Document all activities during an incident and providing leadership with status updates during the life cycle of the incident. Create, manage, and dispatch incident tickets Create a final incident report detailing the events of the incident Maintain shift logs with relevant activity Document investigation results, ensuring relevant details are passed to senior analysts and stakeholders Must comply with any regulatory requirements.
