Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. We believe in a purpose-driven approach to motivating and developing people by incorporating training, goal setting, career development and feedback on a continuous basis.Qualifications Primary SkillsA.Extensive coding experience in Core Java, JSON, JAX-RS B.Hands-on experience with REST, HTTP, Microservices, Eventing frameworks C.An understanding of: OAuth2.0, JWT, JPA, ORM (Eclipse link) D.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka E.Strong exposure to Cloud concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure, any certification(s) a plus F.Strong problem solving skills G.Proven design skills and expertise H.Fluent with IDE and Java build tools such as GIT, Eclipse, Netbeans, Maven, Jenkins and Modeling Tools of UML I.Experience in working with Oracle Database Tools and administration. J.Experience on JUnit, and JMockit tools K.Experience on REST testing tools like Postman, JMeter, Curl. L.Experience in the Financial Services Industry domain (Banking or Insurance) M.Excellent writing and oral communications skills (in English) N.Natural collaborator who enjoys working in cross organizational teams residing in multiple time zones.
