Job Description

We are seeking talented individuals, well versed in DevOps technologies, automation, infrastructure orchestration, continuous integration, who are not constrained by how things are usually done. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be working on several of the key technology initiatives leveraging cutting edge data, cloud and integration technologies. You would typically be involved in the following activities on a day-to-day basis.

  • Management of deployments to production
  • Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that will span multiple GCP and AWS services
  • Troubleshoot application deployments, recreate customer issues, and build proof of concept applications
  • Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns and suggest fixes
  • Perform issue investigation on multiple systems across environments and work with Engineering on opening bugs and requests with all required diagnostic information
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions depending on customer issues
A suitable candidate would be a DevOps Engineer with very good programming/scripting knowledge who is extremely customer focused, can multi-task, and utilizes both written & verbal communication skills to help customers to resolve their technical issues.Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Science / Information Technology / Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years experience as an Infrastructure engineer and strong understanding of cloud platforms like GCP
  • One or more DevOps, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technology (e.g. Docker, Jenkins, Ansible etc.)
  • One or more scripting language (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Node.JS)
  • One or more Databases, good knowledge on querying (e.g. Oracle)
  • One or more version control platform (e.g. Git, SVN)
  • Troubleshooting skills at multiple levels of complexity
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of AWS, GCP and cloud computing concepts
  • Proficient with Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
  • Experience using Rancher and Keel to automatically manage Kubernetes workloads
  • Hands-on experience using curl
  • Monitoring and support of cloud Infrastructure
  • Monitoring and management for services, containers, applications, and infrastructure using Stackdriver
  • Experience working with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog and pingdom
  • Hands-on experience using CI tools such as Jenkins
  • Exposure to Googles Cloud Spanner DB and Amazon s Aurora DB
