The group also develops analytical products for several verticals like Marketing, Finance, Supply chain, Pricing, Customer, HR etc.Our team which is part of GDO, Bengaluru is responsible for creating and maintaining the Global Data Lake wherein we build the global data domain data for Walmart customers across the Globe and shopping in various ways like in Brick and Mortar Store, dot com, mobile etc. The team is responsible for time critical, business critical and highly reliable systems that influence Walmart business. The team is spread over multiple locations and we work towards providing the best experience to our customers.Your OpportunityAs part of the Global Data Engineering Team @Walmart Labs, you ll have the opportunity to make a difference by being a part of Support and Development team that helps in building best shopping experience for Walmart Customers at our Stores and online. Here you are also required to continuously innovate to lower the development cost, provide greater value to the business and provide best experience to our Business partners and Customers.Collibra Workflow Developer defines, codes and implements Data Asset Development requirements for Collibra integrations and workflows. They understand the concepts of Data Governance operating models, processes and metadata. As a Collibra Workflow Developer you should be able to communicate automation concepts and benefits to business and IT professionals alike. Managework with on and with offshore teams in the configuration of Data Governance automation software and coding of workflows.Your QualificationsMinimum of 3 years data management experience with hands on experience in the implementation of Collibra Workflows.Minimum 6 months of hands on experience with Activiti, BPMN, Java, Eclipse, and Groovy.Collibra Expert Level or Ranger Certification a plus.Preferred QualificationsSolid experience of client security and software environments and vendor software installationsimplementations.Experience with other DG automation tools such as Axon or Datum a plus.Basic knowledge of technicalIT data governance.Ability to communicate the basic concepts and value of data governance automation to client business and IT professionalsSolid understanding of DG operation models, metadata, Collibra process flows.Ability to operate independently.Business Data Governance implementation experience a plusExperience with Data Catalog technologies preferred but not required.Exposure to writing POVs on emerging Data Management concepts.Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment and delivering Data Governance solutions.Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Desire to work in an information systems environment.Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.Your ResponsibilityWorks with the Data Governance Automation lead to define and document requirements for Collibra implementations and integrations.Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problemsPrimary upward interaction is with client IT professionals and Data Governance professionalsWill interact with peers and/or management levels at the companyDetermines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidanceSupport the Agile teams development efforts towards successful project deliveryDesign, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide drive value from data at Walmart ScaleExperience performing root cause analysis on data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome product features to keep platform ahead of market scenarios.Identify right open source tools to deliver product features by performing research, POC/Pilot and/or interacting with various open source forums.Our Ideal CandidateYou have a deep interest and passion for technology.
