Job Description

  • A graduate/ postgraduate degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years experience in improving finance processes, risk, and controls.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Proficient in finance, accounting, planning and budgeting, risk, compliance, internal controls, and staff leadership.
  • KYC reporting, process, and issues
  • Maintaining manuals, policies, procedures, risk assessments
  • Monitoring markets interventions - bans / sanctions
  • Assess the businesss future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the Company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control
  • Excellent finance processes knowledge and writing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all teams and field operations staff toward the achievement of delivering the training and procedures.
  • Skilled at working in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as compliance manager
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
  • An analytical mind is able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus
  • Can work in a team-oriented environment while driving for results
  • Perform logical analysis
  • Creative problem solving
