Job Description

What you will do

  • Involved in technical lifecycle service including Planning, Design, Implementation, and Optimization of Cisco Mobile Wireless Solutions. The main focus will be on End to end Mobility Architectures, with a baseline focus on 4G/5G mobile packet core (LTE & 5GC), signaling, Mobile transport and backhaul technologies, and Virtualized Applications (VNFs / CNFs)
  • You will be involved in the Design and implementation of Ciscos groundbreaking technologies and provide services to the largest networks and high-profile customers in the world
  • Influence and/or develop software and tools in support of network design, infrastructure, and technology platforms.
  • Applying new thinking and techniques to automate manual processes.
  • Apply leading technology to address real business problems and collaborate globally to deliver high-quality, robust, repeatable, and scalable services, while learning and growing as individuals
  • Be a strategic partner to our customers, saving their business from the impact of network incidents, solving and preventing the recurrence of technical issues
  • Supports engineers from multiple teams as well as the field and aid them in problem resolution.
  • Works on diverse problems where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of factors with imaginative and innovative troubleshooting and experimentation.
  • Provide systems/product training both internally and externally and intellectual property material
  • Provide mentorship to Engineering and product organizations on future product development.

Our success is validated through outstanding financial results, growing customer happiness metrics, industry recognition, and employee happiness scores.Who you areBachelors or Masters degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Electrical/Computer Engineering or a similar fieldSolid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies6 - 12 years experience in technical consulting, design, deployment and troubleshooting
  • Complete understanding of Mobility/Transport nodes (MSC, BSC, RNC, BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, HLR/HSS, STP, MME, S/P-GW, PCRF, SMF, PCF, IMS nodes)
  • Proficient with 3GPP specifications/Release
  • Experience in mobility-related call flows and interfaces Gx, Rx, Gy, Sy and understanding of all other mobility-related call flows and interfaces
  • Experience in Configuring, Testing and solving the 3G/4G Mobility Network
  • Knowledge of complimentary Packet Core Applications GTP-C, GTP-U, RADIUS, LDAP, DIAMETER, DNS
  • Good to have experience working with Cisco Products: Cisco UCS, Cisco CPS related products
  • Good experience with Unix/Linux administration and solving Cloud experience (VMWare / Openstack)
  • NoSQL database preferably MongoDB
  • Knowledge of TACACs, DNS, Storage systems and network management
  • Knowledge of one computer languages and programming (Java, Python, XML, RESTAPI) frameworks
  • Possess creative problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
  • Analytically upbeat with the ability to collect, coordinate, and analyze massive datasets
  • Easily simplifies, communicates, and educates customers about complex data and processes
