Job Description

This leadership opportunity is within the Healthcare, Life Sciences and Medical Devices (HLS) Domain & Consulting Unit of Wipro. The Unit focuses on 5 areas globally Healthcare (Payers & Providers), Medicare, Medicaid, Medical Devices, and Life Sciences with the purpose of helping their clients achieve real business improvements and value. The unit is accountable for consultative industry domain led expertise and thought leadership to define, design and deliver business outcomes to our clients and help elevate the impact.Job SummaryYou will be a key member of Wipro s HLS Domain & Consulting team and will focus primarily on leading the driving the adoption of consulting offerings & delivering growth for existing and new Provider accounts. As the Healthcare Provider SME, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining, owning, and driving 1 2 Provider focused (and differentiated) offerings & solutions in areas like Telehealth, Revenue Cycle Management, Value based Care, Population Health etc.
  • Spokesperson and champion, both internally and externally, for the Practices Area owned.
  • Collaborating with various cross-organization teams to define and sell consulting opportunities, drive RFPs, and proactive proposals at Providers.
  • Executing consulting engagements with delivery teams, delivery managers, and client teams.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and providing thought leadership and mentoring to clients.
  • Helping grow and shape the overall HLS Domain & Consulting team, as a senior member of the practice.
Core Responsibilities
  • Domain Offerings & Solutions: Identifies the leading business and technology challenges facing the Provider industry today and drives the development of consulting offerings and solutions that solves for our client s most complex issues and drives business transformation. Get established as a Go-To person for domain-led and/or consulting-led sales within the Provider domain, with a focus on growing practice areas, owned by him/her.
  • Consulting Sales: Identify, define, and solution for differentiated consulting offerings covering various value chain functions within a Provider s organization. Reviews and assesses a client s business strategy, including competitive positioning, strategic direction and identifies appropriate solutions that will drive value and growth. Collaborates with Sales Teams and account owners to craft client pursuit strategies and drive RFPs, with a focus on domain and consulting services and with significant scope for downstream engagements.
  • Consulting Delivery: Lead and execute high impact consulting programs aligning with client business strategy and roadmap. Conduct workshops with senior stakeholders, drive execution and program manage a portfolio of consulting engagements with a global footprint. Provide thought leadership, direction, guidance and oversight to engagement teams. Oversee project performance and deliverables, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Business Financials: Define/Refine and execute in creating new business opportunities & new business wins (Revenue and OB).
  • Practice Management / Operations: Supports the overall recruiting efforts to help build the team of experts who can develop and deliver innovative solutions and offerings that can be taken to market. Committed to engaging with, training, mentoring members of the broader Healthcare Consulting practice.
  • Thought Leadership & Branding: Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning increasing Wipro s mindshare in the Healthcare ecosystem. Creating external facing collateral, in partnership with Wipro s Marketing teams, on Wipro s solutions/offerings and relevant and emerging topics in the Provider industry.
Capabilities Needed
  • Domain Depth: Strong knowledge of the Provider industry, trends that are shaping its future, current challenges that present opportunities for growth, depth the business capabilities across multiple Provider value chain functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering solutions and services to Providers.
  • Solutioning: Strong Proposal Development and Solutioning experience, along with demonstrated experience to lead bid and proposal work end-to-end.
  • Delivery Capabilities: Deep delivery expertise, with experience in handling multi-shore consulting projects, in a distributed team s environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Big picture orientation, growth mindset, and ability to conceive effective strategies to drive growth.
  • Analytical Thinking & Problem-solving: Ability to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal skills: Ability to drive & lead strategic programs, manage change, build relationships with clients & partners, motivate teams, and achieve results.
  • Thought Leadership: Be Wipro s voice and a recognized thought leader for Provider solutions/offerings across industry forums, partner events and customer interlocks. Publish, speak and mentor on a range of forward-looking topics around the key growth areas in Healthcare technology services.
  • Personal Drive: Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude, a strong desire to learn and shape one s own career path.
  • Adaptability & Soft skills: Being flexible & learning to deliver in Wipro environment. Soft skills like Process Management, Program Management and Change Management skills critical.
Qualifications Required
  • 12+ years of industry experience with the past 5 years being in a consulting leadership position, MBA from a premier institute is a plus.
  • Functional expertise in a set of specific core processes of a Provider Patient Engagement, Care Delivery, Remote Patient Monitoring, Revenue Cycle Management etc.
  • Experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value based pitches for Provider organizations.
  • Experience or strong exposure to software lifecycles including defining downstream opportunities, beyond a strategic consulting engagement.
  • Ownership in Solution incubation and IP-creation.
  • A good mix of experience working in operations and enterprise processes of a technology company.
