Job Description

    Core Responsibilities
    • Station Mastery: Execute high-end Continental dishes ranging from handmade pastas and risottos to complex protein-based mains and delicate appetizers.
    • Sauce Crafting: Mastery of the mother sauces and their contemporary derivatives, including jus, reductions, and foams.
    • Plating Excellence: Ensure every plate leaving the Continental station aligns with ARAKUs minimalist, luxury aesthetic.
    • Ingredient Integrity: Work closely with our sourcing team to utilize regenerative produce, ensuring minimal wastage and maximum flavor extraction.
    • Innovation: (For CDP level) Assist the Executive Chef in menu engineering and creating daily specials that reflect global European trends.
    Candidate Profile
    • Technical Skill: Deep knowledge of Continental cooking techniques (searing, poaching, roasting, and confit).
    • Background: Must have experience in a high-volume yet high-quality Continental Specialty kitchen or a 5-star Western banquet/coffee shop.
    • Quality Control: A sharp palate and an eye for detail; you dont let a dish pass if its not 100% perfect.
    • Efficiency: Ability to maintain composure and speed during peak brunch or dinner shifts in Bangalores busiest luxury hub.
