Job Description

Corporate Actions are an integral part of the service to deliver quality Equity and Equity derivative products to our clients. This role will be part of the Bangalore team which is responsible for processing all corporate actions for our global business. This team was recently formed to expand our capability to process corporate actions events. The teams in Bangalore work with corporate action teams in the UK & Australia.

This role is within the Corporate Action team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for doing all administrative tasks related to Corporate Actions, Dividends, and Stock transfer. The candidate will be required to ensure the accurate and timely processing of CA events assigned to them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of all Corporate Action events -both Mandatory and Voluntary within IG systems
  • Sending Client emails describing corporate action events and election choices
  • Collation of Client instructions
  • Preparation of Client Bookings
  • Posting of Client Dividends, across product ranges in different IG systems
  • Synthetic Dividend reconciliation
  • Handling client queries and queries from helpdesk
  • Processing of Stock Transfers
  • Update of IG internal systems
  • Handling projects

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience specialising in Corporate Actions
  • Good understanding of various Corporate Action events- Mandatory and Voluntary
  • Familiarity with the risks associated with corporate action events including client money
  • Ability to work with a great deal of attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to work in any shift
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Should be able to go beyond the roles and responsibility and should be able to help the team members during peak times
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Deadline / delivery conscious and flexible to changing priorities
