Job Description

You will be working as a Provisioning & Activation Executive (Process Associate & Customer service representative) at HCLTECH in Bengaluru location. Your work location will be in Whitefield-Bangalore with 5 working days in a week at night shift. You will be part of the Network Operations / Service Delivery department. As a fresher from Arts and Science background, you will be responsible for assisting in data, voice, VPN, and leased lines based on customer requirements. Your key responsibilities will include performing service activation and validation, coordinating with internal teams, monitoring order queues, tracking and escalating delays, documenting tasks, maintaining accurate records, participating in shift operations, and ensuring SLA adherence. You will have the opportunity to learn about provisioning systems like Cramer, Siebel, Remedy, configuring network devices, IP Address management, VLANs, routing protocols, and real-time coordination between cross-functional telecom teams. Your skills and qualifications should include good communication skills, basic understanding of networking concepts, eagerness to learn telecom infrastructure, attention to detail, willingness to work in shifts, and familiarity with MS Excel and reporting tools. Preferred certifications like Cisco CCNA (Beginner Level) or NOC/Telecom Network Fundamentals Training are a plus.Key Responsibilities:- Assist in data, voice, VPN, and leased lines based on customer requirements.- Perform service activation and validation using standard scripts and configuration templates.- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, field ops, service assurance) to ensure timely delivery of services.- Monitor order queues and handle provisioning tasks through OSS/BSS tools.- Track and escalate delays or configuration issues proactively.- Document completed tasks and update customer provisioning status.- Maintain accurate records of network elements, circuits, and customer configurations.- Participate in shift operations and ensure SLA adherence.What Youll Learn:- Understanding of provisioning systems like Cramer, Siebel, Remedy, etc.- Configuring network devices.- Exposure to IP Address management, VLANs, and routing protocols.- Real-time coordination between cross-functional telecom teams.- Use of service delivery tools and ticketing systems.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree in Arts or Science.- Courses in networking or knowledge holding.- Freshers (Arts & Science) with no more than 1 year of experience.- Candidates with BTECH, IT, MTECH, BE degrees are not eligible to apply.Note: Any additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.
