As a Data Analytics & BI Specialist at ABB in the Motion Business Area for Large Motors & Generators Division based in Bangalore, India, your role will involve evaluating business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that enhance business performance, and guiding in solution development and implementation in collaboration with business and technology teams. Your responsibilities include:- Interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports- Executing quantitative analyses to translate data into actionable insights- Establishing expertise in designing new dashboards, identifying the right metrics and layout, and building dashboards using best practices and intuitive visualization- Identifying, adopting, and defining new patterns, standards, and processes to ensure appropriate adoption and solutions development- Analyzing reports, identifying areas for improvement, and managing bugs for troubleshooting the reporting environment- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft solutions based on requirements- Keeping abreast of the latest technology architecture trends through continuous learning- Identifying metrics, implementing methods for understanding customer needs, and improving efficiency and performance through active development- Delivering user-friendly analytics insights through continuous solutions delivery with feedback from customers and stakeholdersQualifications:- Bachelors degree or above in Information Systems/Finance management or related qualifications- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in digital technology and solutions, with familiarity in operation systems and knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization tools- Good cross-functional skills, can-do attitude, and collaboration mindset- Basic knowledge of financial systems, SAP, and SFDC- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence internally and externallyIn addition, the Large Motors and Generators Division at ABB offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators, providing high efficiency, reliability, and availability across various industries and applications.
