You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the business you will also end users to determine information requirements.You will: Deep dive and correlate data, formulate conclusions and provide summary overviews to business leadership Supervise trends and elevate issues accruing due to data variances Interact with customers to set expectations regarding report availability and SLAs Generate reports and recommendations based on analysis and proactively communicate status to the customer Exercise considerable judgment and take initiative in assignments to resolve problems and make recommendations and resolutionsTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here s what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsData Integration Expert - Data Analyst- Sr Analyst - 3 to 5 years of experience in the following:- ETL / Data Integration: Informatica, Unix, Streamsets, Hadoop & Spark (must)- Database: Strong in SQL. Experience with Teradata or Greenplum or MemSQL, Hadoop, Graph Database (Neo4j), Object Storage- Exposure any Cloud Environment (Azure / AWS/ PCF)- Important to have BI skills & Experience : TOLAP and PowerBI / BOBJ / Tableau- Excellent Data Analysis Skills with SQL- A solid understanding of MS SQL DBMS and T-SQL- A solid understanding of Dimensional Modelling and Data Warehouse Design.- Experience with .NET programming a plus- Exposure to the MDX query language- Knowledge of Sharepoint (Business Intelligence) is a plus- Possess strong foundation and understanding on SQL and Business Intelligence concepts- Exposure to Data Science with Python or R or RPA would be a BIG Plus- Good Hands on Experience with SQL, Data Integration and BI- Functional and Data Knowledge of Orders and Sales- Analyzes data and provides interpretations and various reports for the business- Good communication Skills- Committed and Good Team Collaboration Skills- Good communication and Interpersonal Skills- Committed and Team Collaboration SkillsAdditional Requirements Administer and Maintain the BI environments and provide day-to-day operational support Work with Business, Delivery and Support teams to analyze production issues in a critical, high pressure situation. Provide thought leadership, advice and guidance in your field of expertise Provide inputs in setting governance and standards related to all aspects of BI environment Work with the Team to analyze database operational data, identify potential issues and proactively initiate resolution strategies with other application and IT support team Participate in on-call rotation as needed Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities Conduct performance tuning and capacity management Perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement corrective measures. Provide ongoing information to leadership, customers, and peers regarding enhancements, innovations and solutions.
