There is a large focus on innovation, inclusion, giving back to the community and sharing knowledge.The Counterparty Data & Regulatory Tech (CDRT) practice area is responsible for the systems that support the client and account onboarding, and the distribution of client and account reference data to other business functions across the firm.The CDRT Data Quality team is looking for a talented and experienced professional to join and contribute to the team s Data Quality and Data Governance functions. Being the Reference Data Group for Account and Party data, the DQ team s responsibility to maintain Conformity, Accuracy and Uniqueness of data holds utmost significance. Database plant owned by CDRT is used across the firm for sourcing counter party data for all business activities ranging from trading, booking, reporting, clearing, reconciliation, settlement etc. DQ team uses technologies like SQL for analysis, Informatica Data Quality Client (IDQ) to create Rules and Qlikview as the BI Tool. Data Governance is performed using an In-house tool Pantheon. This is a challenging and dynamic role, requiring the developer to participate in all stages of the systems development life cycle, and to partner with other global technical and business teams inside and outside of the CDRT practice area. Besides the Expertise in one of the Data Quality Tools and a passion for data and analytics, good communication skills, and willingness to share ideas and concepts with others are essential.Major Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, test, maintain and optimize Data Quality Rules on Informatica s DQ offering (Informatica Developer Client) and Informatica Analyst.

• Understand data and identify avenues to improve the quality of data.

• Take complete ownership of programs working with Business to Identify, Estimate and Develop corresponding DQ Rules.

• Perform Data Governance activities like reviewing the Need, understanding scope of data getting created newly or being maintained and review Modelling decisions.

• Come up with innovative solutions to help business maximize the DQ and DG solutions offered by improving the platform for Business users to have an easy access and better understanding of CDRT s data.

• Undertake performance turning and troubleshooting activities.

• Perform basic Data Modelling activities and aid running Governance and Control programs.

• Document technical requirements, specifications, and solutions.

, *Required skills:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or a related information technology field.

• Experience with enterprise-scale, real time, highly accessed transactional databases.
• 5-8 years of development experience with Informatica Developer Client or similar DQ Tools.
• 5-8 years of experience in extracting and analyzing data from Sybase/DB2 or any other RDBMS using SQL.
• 2-4 years of scripting experience using Python.
• Experience in one of the BI Tools like Tableau, Qlikview etc.

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.

• Basic Data Analytics knowledge and passion towards identifying anomalies with data.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work under time and resource constraints and find simple and effective solutions.

• Motivated to expand technical and business knowledge.

Good to have:

• Experience/exposure to development with ETL Tools like Informatica Power Center.

• Experience/exposure to Cloud based ETL solutions.

• Experience of working in Agile teams.
• Open to learn new technologies.
