Job Description

    Job Purpose (brief):Our leading energy management organization is currently in need of a Data Scientist to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will be intricately involved in running analytical experiments in a methodical manner and will regularly evaluate alternate models via theoretical approaches. This is the perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to become a part of an innovative and energetic team that develops analysis tools which will influence both our products and clients.Roles and Responsibilities:Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sourcesResearch and develop statistical learning models for big data.Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand company needs and devise possible solutionsImplement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis (ensembling techniques).Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data for ETLUsingmachine learning tools to features selection, create and optimize classifiersModel development for data replication, outlier detection and automatic fault detectionalong with data visulation.Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.Preferred Skills:Programming Skills knowledge of programming languages likePython/R and database likeSQL server, MySQL, postgresql is required. Statistics Good applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression etc. Proficiency in statistics is essential.Machine Learning good knowledge of machine learning methods like LSTM(Long short-term memory), deep learning, ensembling techniques, different classification algorithms.Strong Math Skills (Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra) - understanding the fundamentals of Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra is required.Proficiency in handling imperfections in data with help of various techniques.Experience withPythonlabrieslike matplotlib, numpy/scipy,pandas,keras/pytorch, powerBI , Web Scrapping that help to visually encode data.Excellent Communication Skills to describe findings to a technical and non-technical audience.Experience withmechanical/electrical systemslike fault detection and diagonsis, Signal processing, FFT (Fast Fourier transform), MCA(Motor Current Analysis) etc. is essential.Strong Software Engineering Background.Hands-on experience with data science toolsProblem-solving aptitudeAnalytical mind and great business senseQualifications:
    • Degree in computer science, Engineering or relevant field is preferred.
    • At Least one published one research paper in esteem journal.
