*Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement.Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred., *About the TeamThe Oracle CX Unity team is building a new product, focusing on data management, powered AI segment builder/explore and analytical dashboards to enable marketers take advantage of single 360 view of the customer profile, transactional and behavioral data. The CX Unity team is responsible for maintaining and upkeeping the data to provide the latest focused customer audience for marketers to leverage. Combining this product with Oracles Marketing product suite, e.g. Responsys and Eloqua, provides the Oracles customer with a world class end-to-end solution for their B2C and B2B marketing needs.What Fires YOU up As a Data Scientist at CX Unity your role is to d esign, develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for Marketing and CX customers. You will have access to unparalleled resources within CX Unity and Oracle CX Cloud group to grow and develop both personally and professionally.We are looking for a mixture between a statistician, scientist, machine learning expert and engineer: someone who has passion for building and improving Internet-scale products informed by data. The ideal candidate understands human behavior and knows what to look for in the data, and can work closely with the engineering and product management teams to solve complex problems with unique data, analysis, algorithms, and insights. Responsibilities o Work with large amounts of real-world conversational, transactional, Behavioral datao Analyze, understand and model user-behavior and user-experience based on large scale data to detect key factorso Ensure data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including data collection, ground truth generation, normalization and transformationo Perform data quality analysis and build predictive modes in ML/AIo Define ML based techniques for sampling, judgment monitoring, A/B testing and efficient evaluationso Work closely with the Engineering team to operationalize the model, automate the data science pipelines and deploy the models.o Fluent in writing code for model building and bootstrap, test and implement models through their lifecycle including devsecops and deploying into cloud.o Knowledge of cloud ops is mandatoryo Devops/ Frontend knowledge is a plus Must Have Educational Qualifications and experienceo M.S. or B.S in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematicso Minimum 5-6 years of professional industry experience in data scienceTools and Tech knowledgeo Strong ability to code in various languages, use big data platforms, extract and analyze data -, Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Kafkao Experience in deep learning platforms and languages - Python, Scikit, NLTK, Numpy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, theanoo Can fish for data: SQL, Pandas, Oracleo Optimising models: data structures, algorithms, performance complexity, and implications of computer architecture on software performance (e.g., I/O and memory tuning).o Understand the model lifecycle of cleansing/standardizing raw data, feature creation/selection, writing complex transformation logic to generate independent and dependent variables, model selection, tuning, A/B testing and generating production ready code.o Deep knowledge of AI/ML algorithms and Machine learning principles (training, validation, etc.)Production Scale experienceo Experience with integrating applications and platforms with cloud technologies (i.e. AWS and GCP)o Have full stack experience in data collection, aggregation, analysis, visualization, productionization, and monitoring of data science productso Experience in deploying data science solutions: Java, Python, C++o Software engineering fundamentals: version control systems (i.e. Git, Github) and workflows, and ability to write production-ready code. Great-to-have o Experience in Adtech or Martech spaceo Passion to answer Product/Engineering questions with datao Mathematics fundamentals: linear algebra, calculus, probabilityo Interest in reading academic papers and trying to implement theseo Communicate concisely and persuasively with engineers and product managers
