Job Description

  • Provide recommendations to senior management on strategic issues based on technical expertise and knowledge of industry trends combined with business needs.
  • Create predictive models that will allow us to test various scenarios and adjust our plans based on current results.
  • Communicate and present algorithm solution and outcome with teams through data visualization.
  • Redefine benchmark of our key metrics like SLA and Cycle time by statistical analysis.
  • Contribute to and help drive the development of our data science platform.
  • Ability to work independently with business stakeholders to understand the business problem and identifying the approach to solving the business problem using advanced analytic techniquesKey Responsibilities:
  • Ability to apply cutting edge data analytics and science theories, principles, and concepts. Thorough understanding of the business, strategic, and competitive environment.
  • Have expert knowledge and understanding in common data intelligence practices & processes with proven success in providing consultative guidance to enterprise scale teams in improving their data intelligence programs. Ability to articulate impact of data intelligence & analytics problems translating them into best case scenarios that drive critical business decisions.
  • Build flexible, insightful tools, dashboards, and reports that enable everyone at Dell to be an analyst.
  • Support executive-level presentations to present complex business information in a concise and understandable format Translate Analytics / statistical output to business speak and enable adoption of analytics by the customer.
  • Analyze and extract relevant information from business data to help automate and optimize key processes.
  • Analyze complex business problems and issues using data to provide insight to critical business decisions. Integrate data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements
  • Design, develop and evaluate highly innovative models for predictive learning.Essential Requirements:
  • 5+ experience in any data mining, business analytics, data science or data scientist role.
  • Help build a data driven organization where decision making is pivoted upon sound quantitative evidence
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning, information retrieval, data mining, statistics, NLP or related field
  • Data Science and Software Engineering skills
  • SQL, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing Concept & SDLC Skills
  • Big data analytics in Hadoop environment with Python / R/ Java / Scala
  • Apply predictive modeling and Data mining techniques for a variety of user modeling tasks.
