Job Description

echnical Experience

  • Hands-on experience in design and implementation of Data Warehousing solutions
  • Have built at least two Enterprise Data Warehouses from scratch
  • Must possess complete hands-on experience in anyone RDBMS such as SQL Server / Oracle
  • Knowledge on Columnar databases such as Microsoft Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake etc.
  • Strong knowledge on SQL and procedural languages such as T-SQL, PL/SQL etc
  • Hands-on experience on SSIS ETL Tool
  • Good exposure on cloud based ETL and Database services on Azure
  • Fair knowledge on NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra etc.
Designing Skills
  • Must have hands-on experience of relational and dimensional modelling
  • In depth knowledge on at least one designing / modeling tool such as ERwin, ER Studio, PowerDesigner, etc.
  • Must have experience in understanding business vision to prepare ETL solution architecture
  • Well experienced in designing ETL/ELT approaches while authoring the data flows
  • Identifying solutions to key technical challenges in projects concerning data warehousing and business intelligence
Communication Skills
  • Must have very good oral and written communication skills
  • Must have experience in presenting technical topics to large audiences
Technical Skills
  • Exposure to conducting maturity assessments of existing data warehousing / ETL solutions
  • Exposure to Data Governance best practices
  • Fair Knowledge on Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, SSAS
  • Fair Knowledge on Azure Data Factory(ADF) Data Integration Service
  • Fair Knowledge on Hadoop technologies(Cloudera / Hortonworks)
  • Exposure to BI / Visualization solutions using tools such as SSRS / Tableau / Power BI
  • Fair knowledge on scripting languages such as Shell Scripts, PowerShell, Perl, Python etc
