Provide DBA support on all aspects of databases administration including backup/recovery, replication, deployment and real time production troubleshooting responsibilities on DB2 LUW databases with DPF. n Must have exceptional knowledge and experience supporting: DB2 LUW database technology on AIX 6.1/7.1 environments. n In-depth knowledge of AIX Operating Systems including expertise in shell scripts. n Databases using Partitioning and HA/DR features of DB2 LUW. n Backup / Recovery / DR for DB2 LUW databases, including tape backup and storage mirroring technologies. n Troubleshooting end-to-end performance related issues including application code, database performance, OS / Server performance, along with network and storage related issues. n In-depth knowledge of DB2 LUW utilities like REORG, RUNSTATS, RECOVER, QUIESCE, UNLOAD, LOAD, EXPORT, IMPORT, BACKUP and RESTORE. n In-depth understanding of Optim Performance Manager Tool for monitoring DB2 LUW database portfolio. n Conducive approach when working with other infrastructure support organizations like Server operations, Storage operations, Backup operations, and application development and management teams. n Install, configure, monitor, upgrade and maintain database in production and non-production environments n Provide 24x7 on call DBA support for production environment on rotation and need basis n Provide Database deployment support for Test and Production environments n Diagnose and address database performance issues using performance monitors and various tuning techniques n Interact with Storage and Systems administrators on Windows/Unix/Linux operating systems issues related to Databases n Able to write database maintenance and automation scripts n Configure and maintain Database High availability n Support data guard replication n Troubleshoot database production problems and database connectivity issues n Implement DR solutions n Experience supporting DB2 LUW databases ptfm, Mandatory Skills: Database Admin System Administration Desirable Skills:Language Skills: English Language, Portuguese Language
