Job Description

    Location:BangaloreExperience:6 - 9 YearsNotice Period:Immediate to 15 DaysCTC:10 - 20 LPAAbout the RoleWe are seeking aDatabase Developer Lead (DB2 UDB)to join our team atNCG. In this role, you will lead database development initiatives, focusing onDB2 UDB optimization, data migration, and performance tuning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive process improvements to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient database solutions.Key Responsibilities
    • Develop andoptimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scriptsfor DB2 UDB databases.
    • Design and implementdata migration strategiesfrom DB2 z/OS to DB2 UDB.
    • Collaborate with business and technical teams togather requirementsand translate them into technical specifications and functional designs.
    • Lead database development projectsfrom planning to deployment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
    • Providementorship and technical guidanceto junior developers.
    • Identify and implementprocess improvements and automationwithin database operations.
    Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelors degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 69 years of experiencein database development, with a strong focus onDB2 UDB.
    • Proven expertise inwriting and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval scripts.
    • Experience indata migrationfrom DB2 z/OS to DB2 UDB.
    • Experience in thefinancial services or banking industryis highly desirable.
    • Strongleadership and mentoring skillswith experience leading database projects.
    • Excellentproblem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
