Summary Description: The candidate would be responsible assisting various application teams on Oracle issues. This includes performance tuning, data modeling and developing Oracle procedures/ packages. A successful candidate should have strong data modeling and solid knowledge of Oracle Architecture The candidate should have strong PLSQL development experience. The candidate should have strong data warehousing knowledge. Job Responsibilities: Hands- on end- 2- end BI Development encompassing Database Design, Data warehousing, ETL, BI Development working with cross- functional teams. Should be able to debug application code written in PLSQL for high demand OLTP/ Reporting applications. Understand the business priorities and requirements; architect/ develop solutions to meet the business need and lead execution. Work as an individual contributor and collaborate with multiple teams/ vendors/ consultants in an effective manner. Experience / Qualifications: Bachelor s degree with 3 years of Oracle/ PLSQL development experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise with business users. 3 - 6 years of hands on experience in Oracle PL/ SQL development. Hands on experience in Performance tuning, Data Warehousing and Database modeling. Strong documentation and communication skills Exposure to unix scripting, sybase, any 1 ETL tool and IBM Netezza is an added advantage. Design and Development of reporting Products including Adhoc reports, Canned Reports, Dashboards and Analytics using any leading BI reporting tool and a visualization tool. High standard of quality, attention to detail and organizational aptitude. Willingness to learn new technical and finance skills.
